From our personal collection, works fine. Charming and quaint, this was the first alarm clock my two brothers and I learned to tell time on. Hadn't wound it in years, did so the other day and it ticks beautifully, just like the opening to Pink Floyd's "Time." I have not tested the alarm function (since actually using it as a kid) or accuracy; it may and probably does need adjustment.
