This old hobo works like a champ. For a hamburger today, he'll gladly repay you Tuesday. He's pretty darn old and his clothes are getting tattered in the back especially. His hands are crumbled, but we stabilized them. He works very well when you wind him up, raising and lowering his cane, marching in place, and tipping his cap. Also, his head is rubber, and his red rubber nose wiggles back and forth when you wind him. Great piece of vintage advertising. I'm sure this was a promotional item for a great greasy spoon named Joe's. Dig that hamburger steak! On the not-creepy to creepy scale, Ginger thinks he's creepy, but not terribly so. Maybe a 5 or 6. Now, if he came toodling down my bedroom hall at 2 in the morning all alone, now that would be a different story.

What an amazing find and an even more awesome seller! The vintage tin wind-up clown Eat at Joe's arrived safely, and it's absolutely wonderful...I love him and he will be treasured! Thanks for shipping so quickly and for wrapping this fragile toy so securely for shipment; it's sincerely appreciated and I wish others would wrap fragile items as carefully as you did! And thanks for being such a delight to do business with! You set the bar really high for all other sellers on ETSY to follow! Paulette
