Charming Vintage 1950s Red Plaid Gotham Sportsman Picnic Set Complete With Two Thermoses, Tin Box, Salt and Pepper Shakers, and Cutlery in a Handled Bag. The vinyl-type bag is getting pretty stiff but might loosen up with some Armor All or other type conditioner. The thermoses, tin lunch box, and other contents are in fabulous shape, seldom if ever used. This is a very charming set. We had a similar red plaid Thermos school lunch box before, and this is the "adult" version so to speak of. Note, most of these and those like them are not all plaid -- either the box is solid (and often tan), and/or the thermoses are solid color. This baby's got a panoply of plaid, with both thermoses and the tin lunch box all great looking red plaid.
