Vintage Hasbro 1969 GI Joe Fight for Survival Set No. 7982, Complete With Mini Comic and Sharp Original Box

One of the greatest, coolest sets ever. If you didn't have one, you wanted one, and you probably still do. Vintage Hasbro 1966 GI Joe Fight for Survival, Complete With Mini Comic. Can Joe get to the remote Alaskan village with the vaccine before conspicuous consumption wipes out the whole town? With your help and his trusty Huskies, you bet he can!

Condition Notes:
NOTE! The box you see in the first pic is not the box you get. The box you get is much nicer, and can be seen in the last pic.

1. The bar at the front of the sled where the Husky harnesses attach was cracked in the middle, discretely repaired (see photo #6).
2. The bottom peg is missing off the rear side of the right sled upright, stays in place just fine tho.
3. Underneath the sled there is a cross member that runs across the sled between each of the three pairs of cleats on the sled rails. The cross member is broken on the front pair. This has no impact on the sled as the cleats are all still there and the cross member is not visible as it's under the sled (see photo #6, it would be under the sled between those front cleats). I'm not even sure why that cross member is there -- nevertheless, there ya go.
4. Left cleat is missing off the top of the left sled upright, and the hook part is missing off the corresponding upper right cleat. You can see them in photo #9. We just wrapped the rope around the top of the corresponding handles instead of using those cleats, again as can be seen in photo #9.

The original box has a bit of shelf wear and a split on one corner, but the rest is really sharp, great color, glossy graphics. Realllly nice box to go with this set.

We do have another complete set that's not quite as nice, and with a not as nice box, that is cheaper if you are budget constrained (and who isn't lol).
